Allow booking type changes after booking created
We use the "booking type" field for different organization types (local, non-profit) and rates. Organizations or individuals sometimes misreport their booking type and we must reject and re-enter their room booking instead of just changing the booking type.

We've run into this quite a few times since we've started Program. We use Booking Types to distinguish for-profit and non-profit, and it would be better customer service/more efficient if we could just update that booking type when folks choose the wrong one.

Being able to edit, update, and change is an efficiency needed. While we don't book rooms currently, when our building is renovated, we will have two community rooms, and four meeting/study rooms to manage and this idea will be needed. As Cecelia said, sometimes those booking a room will choose the wrong booking type and staff need to be able to edit it rather than starting over.
