Keep Existing Kiosk Homepage Configuration When Upgrading to Vega Premium
This seems to be more of a bug than a feature, but if you are a Basic customer and upgrade to Premium, the one home page you've configured, which also appears on your kiosks, is removed and must be reconfigured individually for each kiosk site (as well as collection sites).
While the documentation -https://knowledge.ag-software.clarivate.com/vega-discover/admin/ConfigureHomepage.htm - states, "Vega Discover customers can configure one home page, which also appears on your kiosks. Your home page can contain a maximum of five rows of content. If you have Vega Discover Premium or if your library belongs to a consortium, you can configure a home page for each kiosk and collection site. Each home page can have a maximum of 20 rows of content," in reality if you have Premium, you MUST (not CAN) configure a home page for each kiosk or collection site. We learned this the hard way and now are stuck redoing our kiosk sites.
When adding a kiosk or collection site, Vega should give you the option of (or default to) inheriting the configuration/settings from the primary domain. By requiring customization for the homepage of each site causes an undue burden on staff.
