Account Portal Showcase based on History
The 'Your Next Read' showcase in the customer Account Portal should pull from the customer's History (reading and/or checkout) instead of pulling from Bookmarks and saved searches. Not too many of our customers use either bookmarks or saved searches, but most opt in for saving reading history. Pulling from history would provide a much better service to customers IMHO.

I wish the Your Next Read showcase was more flexible - use bookmarks, saved searches or reading history, OR set it so the fallback (if no bookmarks, etc.) is whatever we chose/set, just like the 2nd showcase field.
I don't know if having something based on your reading history will be appreciated by people wondering about privacy protections. Also, if you're a parent and check out a bunch of kids books, you may not want to just get suggestions for that age level.

Wouldn't this just serve people titles they have already read? Or are you suggesting using some kind of readalike algorithm to supply titles BASED on what is in the patron's reading history? I see the value in that, but it's also using the patron's reading history in a way that it hasn't previously been used, and I think some of our patrons wouldn't want those suggestions. If this feature is added I would hope it would have a separate opt-in than just opting in to reading history alone.
