'You are here' guide within Mobile
The ability to use an interactive map that allows patrons to see where they are at in the library in relation to a booked room or event that they signed up for. It would help them in real time find their way to the desired location.

Ability to edit or remove the My Barcode banner on the Vega Mobile home screen.
Some sites may want to remove the My Barcode banner or customize the look and feel. Currently this is not possible.

Allow customers to sort checked out items alphabetically, by due date, by number of holds in the queue, by availability

Change Overdrive to Libby
We have completely stopped using the word "Overdrive" and always refer to their product as "Libby." We were able to change the wording in the desktop version, but are unable to do so in the app, which causes customer confusion.

Show renewals in Mobile App
Show renewals remaining in the Mobile App. Patrons have been asking to see this functionality in the mobile app. This makes it easier for them when they are managing their checkouts. Thank you!

Move availability to the search result screen
When searching for an item, we want customers to see right on the results page if that item is available and where. This is buried in the actual title at the very bottom of the screen, and people have a hard time finding it. It also helps people narrow their search without having to click into every single record to see if and where the item is available.

Incorportate more MARC data for media items
Customers want to know much more information than just the description for media items. Who are the contributors, is there closed captioning or subtitles, what is the rating of the movie? This is all available in the desktop but almost no information is available for this format in the app.

Allow External Payment Link from the Fines Window
I would like to suggest adding the option to link out to an external payment page from within the Fines window of the app.
Currently, payment options appear to be limited to specific integrations such as PayPal or Stripe, or to adding a separate payment option elsewhere in the app. It would be helpful if the existing payment space could instead be configured as a custom external link.
This would allow libraries or organizations to direct users to their preferred payment portal without requiring a full payment processor integration inside the app. Ideally, a user could open the Fines window,…

Pickup location should default to "Select a library" not the first library in the list
This is the same as a current improvement idea for Vega Discover (https://ideas.iii.com/forums/951766-vega-discover/suggestions/48885347-discover-pickup-location-should-default-to-select).
One of our libraries is temporarily closed and the app is defaulting to the first library in the list as a pickup location. Unfortunately, patrons don't notice and continue to place holds for pickup at a library that is nowhere near them.
We have to monitor the Manage Holds function on a daily basis to identify these holds and modify them before they go into transit.

Separate language strings for accounts expiring soon vs. accounts already expired
Currently there is a single language string, "HomePage_BarcodeExpireSoon" that governs the orange notification on the home screen for patrons with accounts 'expiring soon.' Admin settings allow you to set when this popup appears and I think it's anything from 30 days to 0 days before the patron's expiration date. However, the same text continues to appear for a patron whose registration is expired, so you can't use "your account is expiring soon" because that gives an expired patron the impression that their account is not yet expired.
There should be one language string for 'expiring soon' and a separate one…

Lists and Linked Accounts should not be lost when barcode is replaced
Right now, if a patron replaces a lost library card, they lose their items in My Lists and any linkages with other accounts. Those items should be tied to the permanent ID of the patron record (patron ID in Polaris, not sure what it is in Sierra) so they are retained when the barcode is replaced. Even though they are not stored in the ILS patron record, PATRONS consider things like their lists and linked accounts to be part of their "library account" and are frustrated to lose that information for what feels like no reason to them.

Consortia - base mobile app home library on stat code
Sometimes users that live in the tax area (municipality, etc) of library A sign up for their card at library B. In this case, the registered at library is B, and the stat code is A. The stat code controls access to Overdrive and the like-services paid for by library A. We would like the app, after sign in, to select the library it display based on stat code, rather than registered at

More Vega Mobile Statistics for Book Shelves
Newcastle Libraries would love more statistics for Vega Mobile/Solus app. Currently we have no app stats specifically for the More> button off the homepage and more specifically the home screen carousels/feeds/book shelves. Creating these collections using bib id or record set is labour intensive, so being able to access this information would help us improve content relevance and discoverability of our collections.

Integration for Lorel from Grove
Grove for Libraries has introduced a product in collaboration with Ingram for enriched content, including covers. This option is not currently available for Vega Mobile. Perhaps it can replace Content Cafe in the interface?

Add an in-app reader/player so patrons don't need to exit the app to enjoy econtent (books, movies, music, etc.)
It would be great if patrons could not only check out their econtent in the app, but could also read it, play it, view it, etc. in the app. If the app could have a built-in reader/player then patrons wouldn't have to have move around to different apps to use their material.

Vega Mobile Usage Statistics - Export to CSV
In Vega Mobile admin, we pull usage statistics [Mobile App > View Activity]. The results are given in tables displayed on the screen (see image).
Request: Can these be formatted so that we can Export the data into a CSV or Excel file?
Right now, I have to copy/paste as text the various tables, then pop them into Excel, where I like to have a month-to-month comparison setup. This is extra work.
