Ability to update an existing record set using a scheduled report
It would be super helpful to have the ability to create a report in Simply Reports (Bib list report) that would update an existing record set, which would then automatically update a Showcase/Carousel in the mobile app.
Here is my example.
I created a report in Simply Reports, advance published it, and in SSRS I subscribed to the report and set it up to email me. (Receiving the report is just for tracking purposes. What is needed is the report to run and update the record set, to in turn update the Showcase/Carousel.)
When creating the report, under 'Bib record general filters', I selected 'Bib record set' and the record set titled 'New Titles in High Demand'.
I set the rest of my criteria to look at publication year, first available date and number of active holds.
In the mobile app admin, I then added a Mobile Tab titled 'New Titles in High Demand' and added the record set ID for Feed 1 on the Home Screen to display a Showcase/Carousel.
I noticed when receiving the reports, that the results do change based on the relative date filter and the number of active holds, however, I expected the record set to update every time the report runs, which in turn would update the Showcase/Carousel I added to the mobile app.
This would be a great feature so I do not need to manually add new titles each week.
