When an 856 is in an Overdrive record, it converts to a resource entity in Polaris during the integration process. However, a library can certainly add their own 856 to the bib record after the fact (that will say something along the lines of “Click here to check out this title on the Overdrive site!”).

A library added their own 856 tags, which caused an issue within Vega. When they are removed, the "GET IT" button shows; however, when they are in the MARC record, not only does the "Check Availability" button show instead of "GET ITEM", but the 856 links are the ones showing.

Once the 856 is removed, the issue is resolved, and the integration will work within Vega with the "GET IT" option for available items.

Library does not want to remove the extra 856 fields and looking for an alternative solution.
