Remembering facets for searching
Patrons doing multiple searches want to keep facets active. For example, someone looking for physical Adult DVDs at a particular building doesn't want to reset the facets with each search for a different title.

To add on to Sarah's comment about using the lock on facets, please note that the Advanced Search (can request for beta) automatically locks facets as you use them.

I believe you can do this by clicking on the little lock icon next to the facets that you want to keep. Once they are set to locked, you can change your search terms and create a new search that keeps those facets.
