Direct Links to Bookmarks, Saved Searches, and Reading History
Currently the only direct links to specific patron account tabs that are to Checkout, Holds, Fines and Fees, and Profile. There should be permanently available links to the other top-level tabs within My Bookshelf: Bookmarks, Saved Searches, and Reading History.

@Amie Scott: that wasn't the idea, no. (But that is a good idea also!)
This idea was in regards to being able to create URL links from external sources (outside the Vega catalog) that would land patrons directly on the Bookmarks, Saved Searches, and Reading History tabs within the My Bookshelf section. Currently the only possible direct links to specific patron account tabs are to Checkout, Holds, Fines and Fees, and Profile.

If I'm reading/understanding you correctly, we agree. When a patron loses their library card and is issued a new card with a different number, they shouldn't lose their bookmarks. We need a hook of some sort that keeps that constant no matter the variables of their account.
