Give Libraries the ability to configure whether patrons can add a second email address or telephone number to their account
When a patron adds a second email address or telephone number in Vega Discover, it is stored in a separate field in the Sierra patron record. This can be misleading because Sierra notices are sent only to the first email address or telephone number on the record. Any additional email addresses or telephone numbers are ignored for notices.
Until Sierra notices support sending to multiple email or telephone fields, we want patrons to be able to update their existing email address or telephone number, but not add a second one.

Yes, PLEASE! We have several options for self-service turned off in Discover that we'd like to have on due to the strange ways in which changes in Discover map to fields in the patron registration form and having no way to communicate to patrons about those mappings at the point where they are editing contact information. We are a Polaris library but we have similar issues of patrons entering multiple phone numbers or emails and expecting they will be contacted at all of them when they will only be contacted at one.
