Patron registration for Sierra libraries: option to include additional fields to registration process
In a recent demo (July 2026) we saw that Polaris libraries can configure additional patron variable/fixed fields to display OR hide in the registration process. This would benefit Sierra libraries as well.
We are used to adding online registrations with a template of various fields that are not included in the current registration.

As noted in another related idea, the current version of Vega Patron registration for us Sierra libraries is really not of any use.

Being able to add additional fields would be a major improvement. We use the Swedish personal identity number as a unique customer identifier, and without the ability to include this field, we will not be able to use this form.
