Agree it would be desirable to be able to have access to the entire calendar or particular specified feeds of it via rss or .ics subscription. .ics is already available in a limited way by choosing "add to my calendar" or "get calendar invitation" for individual events, but this is not a live subscription to the rest of the calendar, just a single event.

My use case is I would like to be able to import my current full calendar into a different software for searchability, as searching past events leaves something to be desire (titles are searchable, whereas descriptions do not count towards hits for a search term)

As others have said it would be highly useful to be able to use feeds and subscriptions from the calendars we're creating to be able to easily populate other formats like display panels with our events.

We work with a community group that shares our events to their calendar. With our old calendar we had an RSS/iCal feed that automatically shared our events saving us considerable staff time.

This feed option would be useful for other technology needs such as reservation panels outside event spaces that rely on a feed to present a schedule of events and reservations for a meeting space.
