Add different color options for the three types of homescreen buttons
With the new app layout, the "Homescreen button" colors in the CMS now affect three different types of buttons: (1) the item alert buttons (overdue, due soon, ready for pickup), (2) the barcode and mobile checkout buttons, as well as (3) the main menu buttons.
It would be nice if these were three separate settings, so you could choose different treatments for each of these three button types.
For instance, since the overdue alert button gets the "Notice button" colors from the CMS, it would make sense for the other alert buttons to also have a (neutral) background color to…

Change menu glyph from bars (hamburger) to user (account)
The current hamburger menu opens an account menu, rather than the overall app menu. Changing the glyph from the bars glyph (https://fontawesome.com/icons/bars?f=classic&s=regular) to a user glyph (https://fontawesome.com/icons/user?f=classic&s=solid) would make it clearer that this is how you access your library account.
The menu link is located in the upper right of the app, which is a common place for an account link to go. And when you open this menu, there's already a round user avatar that appears at the top of the account menu. Swapping out the bars glyph for a user glyph would feel totally…

Add symbol to Profile Avatar to indicate editing
On behalf of Riverside Countly Library: Add a little pencil or other symbol to the Profile avatar so that it's clear to the patron that you can click and edit.

Enable a "low bandth" option to remove enriched content
Some of our service areas require low bandth width options. It would be good to be able to toggle between "full images" and a "low bandth" option.

Leverage Existing LX/Promote Blocks in the Mobile App
We’d love the ability to reuse blocks or modules already created in LX, Promote, or Promote Web within the Mobile App. Our Communications team has invested time into crafting designs in Promote and would really like to extend that work into the Mobile App experience without rebuilding everything from scratch.

Catalog Search Segmentation (Physical, Libby, Hoopla, etc.)
We’d love to see segmented search added to the mobile app. A feature like easy-to-use tabs at the top of the search results (e.g., Physical, Libby, OverDrive, etc.) would make it much easier for patrons to navigate. Currently, they have to use the filter tool and scroll through a long list of formats to narrow down their results, which can be cumbersome.
Workflow... Patron searches on mobile app. Top of the search results (Physical, Libby, Hoopla tabs) would allow a patron to quickly click what type of material they are hunting for without forcing them to select through a huge…

Ability to sort searches by availability
Add the ability to sort catalog search results by availability or "available now". This is a function currently in the PAC and customers expect to see the same behavior in the the Mobile App. This will also make it easier for customers to tell if they can pick up a book the same day.

Mobile App Username
Would it be possible to have the ability to use created usernames in Vega Mobile to sign into our account similar to the PAC and Vega Discover. This would make signing into the mobile app a lot more convenient considering that patrons would no longer need to to type in their full patron barcode.

Data Extraction for the Reading Tracker feature
Some libraries want to use the Reading Tracker for their summer reading challenges. They want to be able to extract the data out to run different kinds of reports.

Include all components in large text version of app
Currently, on iOS, when a device has "Larger Accessibility Sizes" enabled, the app loses many components.
Most critically, the "Checkout" shortcut that appears adjacent to the "Card" shortcut and below the search bar does not carry over when the text is enlarged. The only way to make self checkout available to visually impaired patrons with large text enabled is to rely on the "Checkout" menu item with the visibility set to "Always" or "Post-Login." (My library prefers the visibility set to "Pre-Login" so we can bump up a menu item for greater prominence since the "Checkout" shortcut makes the "Checkout"…

Allow for upcoming Vega associated/linked accounts to be integrated on Innovative Mobile
With the upcoming development of Vega associated/linked patron accounts, we'd like the III Mobile App to integrate this automagically, rather than requiring patrons to set it up both on Vega and on the III mobile app. Vega should supersede the III Mobile App for all account related features.

Automatically list newest titles at top of search results.
Often, when searching for the exact title, it becomes buried under seemingly unrelated titles. While the filter system works, often, patrons are looking for the newest title when they search.

Suppress the linked data 100 $1 information in the Titles on Hold area of the app
In Vega Mobile when a patron is viewing their titles on hold, the URI (100 $1) displays. We'd like the ability to suppress this field information or have it hidden by default. It is confusing to patrons and given the limited space in the app, we'd love to free this up for more useful information. Our site tried hiding it in the classic catalog to see if this would impact the mobile app but it had not impact when doing so. Thanks.

Option to remove background image from Library Location Information
Currently, the Library Location content items display a clear Header Image with a blurred version of that image as the Background image. It is not currently possible to remove the background image entirely.
Please provide an option to either remove the background image entirely or replace the blurred image with a solid background.

LEAP Patron message show up in the app
We'd like to see the Leap patron message pop up in the mobile app, ideally as a banner on top when the patron logs into the app.

Ability to sort/filter by material or item type in "Checkouts".
After completing the API integration for OverDrive titles, it is difficult for users to look through their checkouts to determine which ones are physical items and which ones are digital. An option to sort or filter by material or item type would correct this problem.

Add select all feature in app to place books in reading lists on hold
It would be nice if patrons could batch add books in their reading lists to be placed on hold. Currently, they have to tap into each title to place the hold. We restrict how many holds a patron can have at a time on their account, so this feature would allow our power users to have lists ready to go once their hold queue clears.

Display suspend date in holds list
Patrons should be able to see the hold suspension end date in their holds list. Currently if you select a suspend hold date in the app, there is no way to see that date once you submit. It just says inactive and queue position 0. If patrons can't remember when they requested the item to be placed back on hold, they have to resume the hold and then suspend it again.
