Add message to account when "marked as spam"
Please also put a message in the patron account when they mark our email as spam. I think anytime the notice preference is automatically updated by the system, a note should be added.
We will consider this idea for possible future development. Thank you!

Adding my support again; we do not have the staff time to go through LX Starter looking for spam notices to manually add notes to accounts. Since LX Starter already does it for bounces, please consider adding this functionality for spam, or any time a user's preference is modified by LX Starter.

This would be a difference maker for us, and it strikes me as a relatively simple change.

Could such a note also be viewed on the selfchecks?

Following the recent implementation of LX Starter, we've identified a crucial need for a Non-Blocking Note to be added whenever LX Starter updates a patron's notice preference due to a spam marking. With our first batch of 6.8k messages, one was marked as spam, and without this note, it's extremely challenging for our staff to identify such modifications in the ILS. This feature would be in line with the existing system where a note is added for hard bounces.
For clarity, we propose the note to read: "Email address: xxxx@xxxxx.com was marked as spam on {MM-DD-YYYY at HH:MM pm/am}. Please update."
Thank you for considering this enhancement.

Love this idea! We get vague reports from staff of "patrons aren't getting their notices" and when we ask for names of patrons, we can look them up in LX Starter and see a record of them marking it spam. But it would be so much more helpful on the customer service side if the record were automaticallly given this type of note when emailed are marked spam or flagged for abuse.
Edited to add: I third Eric's comment; we're a regional system of 8 branches and a bookmobile, and only myself (Technology Manager) and our Circulation Manager will have access to LX Starter. Cut us out as the middle men, and have that info on the record for front line staff to immediately relay!

I second everything @Eric Young wrote, plus this would save me the step of manually entering these notes in patron records, which I currently do for bounces.

The added notes in the ILS will be extremely helpful as we don't plan on allowing staff to access LX Starter and having a full picture of what is happening with notices at the patron level in the ILS is key for staff success.
