We do the same thing with Free Text Block since Physical Condition doesn't pop up, which means that we never use the Physical Condition field because staff don't look at it. It also means Free Text Block is loaded with all sorts of information. This would help tremendously, as it would leave Free Text Block for a more narrow use.

For the withdrawn example, does this really require custom circulation statuses? Or just a way to indicate/query the reason an item was withdrawn?
The reason Polaris has traditional restricted circulation statuses is because of our automated processes around certain statuses. Using the withdrawn example, our automatic Lost/Missing to Withdrawn processing would not know about custom statuses or which one to use.
If we reworked this enhancement as needing to be able to track/report on withdrawn reasons, we could plan for that within the automated processes.

This is a great idea. The whole layout of the mobile version of Vega Discover seems to be hard to work with now. Search results don't fit the screen, managing holds and checkouts, and even finding the account portal is now off the side of the screen on my phone (iPhone 13 mini)
