We do the same thing with Free Text Block since Physical Condition doesn't pop up, which means that we never use the Physical Condition field because staff don't look at it. It also means Free Text Block is loaded with all sorts of information. This would help tremendously, as it would leave Free Text Block for a more narrow use.

This is still very much needed! We have a number of e-resources in our collection for which we rely on bib records rather than an API connection like OverDrive. For these resources, we want the 856 field (or a hotlink from the URL in the 856) to display in Vega Mobile so patrons can tap on that link and be taken to the resource on their phone/tablet. This seems like a vital necessity with the increasing number of patrons who use the mobile interface.
