This would be a great idea to prevent creating a lot of errors really quickly. A checkbox or other simple UI to lock the command would save a lot of staff time in correcting errors.

The option to toggle the 'waitlist' display would provide a less confusing experience to our patrons, since there is not really one list in our large consortium.

We're a Sierra library, but would really like more granularity in the status of the items. We have specific statuses, like See Librarian, that aren't "This is available and on the shelf" but also not "This is unavailable and you can't access it" .The current display is to vague and can be confusing to patrons.
