The ability to sort the holds in My Bookshelf by format would be one possible solution.

Z39.50 is essential to our library's cataloging processes. Leap absolutely needs this functionality in order for it to work for our cataloging team.

There are multiple ways to implement this functionality with either a temporary shelf location or an item status. The possibility of being able to create specially designated shelf locations appeals to us more because we could then add our own display locations with the actual names of the display areas. We have a lot of displays! This special kind of shelf location could then be removed upon checkout or check-in. We've created our own stored procedure and job that works this way, but there would likely be a lot of advantages using functionality directly from Polaris (like real-time updates, for instance).
In case no one has mentioned it yet, we'd also like the display names to be visible on Vega Discover (just like our other shelf locations) so that patrons aren't checking the wrong location or can at least ask staff if they aren't aware of the display's location.

We'd love SMS sign-up to be included. I only want to add that it would be great for libraries to be able to choose whether or not to display the option to select a carrier associated with the texting phone number. We no longer need to specify a carrier to send notifications by text, thankfully, and forcing patrons to select one is confusing, especially for all those patrons with a variety of prepaid carriers. Libraries that still need patrons to select a carrier might still need it as an option, but email-to-text is quickly becoming obsolete.
