We have received a number of patron comments about having too many open tabs as they use Vega Discover. We are using some of the Header links to link to popular searches (ie. New Items & On Order). It would be great if any link that is not external to vega would target the existing tab, rather than opening in a new tab.

We just requested our first batch of monthly statistics and I agree that it would be best if we could retrieve these ourselves or better yet, schedule the reports we would like to receive. We have a number of kiosk sites in use and so what I received for the month is 34 PNG files (2 per site) which are screenshots of the summary of total searches and total visits. While it is interesting to see the graph of activity, it would be more useful to receive the data in a spreadsheet that would allow us to track and compare over time.

This is an important feature for our Visiting Library staff who select materials for patrons that receive home delivery.

Indexing Genre is important for us too. We are currently using a workaround (changing all 655s to 650s so that they can be searched) but would like to be able to use the tags correctly and still provide search access to these headings.

Angela, YES! We would still like to see showcase embed code that displays more like the Cover Carousel display used on Vega Home Page. The new code for Showcase widgets does now work better on smaller screens than it did before. The display on a phone now allows you to page through individual covers in a showcase without inadvertently clicking on a cover image.
Unfortunately, this fix is not working well on desktop for our website. We are using tabs to embed multiple showcases in a block on our pages and the tabs are not reading the new embed code properly so the showcase displays as you would expect on the initial tab, but all other tabs show only one cover in the centre of the showcase block(when there is room for 5!).
In addition, we would prefer the mobile view allow users to swipe to scroll through covers, rather than having to page through one-by-one using the arrow buttons. This works very well on Vega Home Page and provides a nicer user experience.
