I'm not sure about the other commenters here, my library is part of a county wide cooperative. Different libraries in the co-op catalog series differently. Public facing records have all different manner of series hyperlinks. Using the Alex Cross by Patterson as an example, I'll see on the series hyperlink: "Alex Cross; bk. 12", "Alex Cross; 26", "An Alex Cross Novel", "Alex Cross Series", "Alex Cross Series; 20". This is a small sample of the series hyperlink confusion.
I rarely use the series hyperlink option on the catalog. I go to fantastic fiction or goodreads and use the information there to find series information or place holds for patrons who want books in a series.

With potential changes added to the Bookmarks Tab, I would like to be able to hover over items I have bookmarked to see what list it is in. Same with being able to hover over the items within a list to get a call number or availability. It's just not user friendly the way it is set up currently.

I would like to see availability in the library in my bookmarked items. I have several different lists going, and to see availability without having to click multiple times will be a game changer. In addition, using the back button on the bookmark tab doesn't work very well. It loses the original place I was working from.

A thought to consider: perhaps it is a parent registering their children or themselves on one card for programs happening at the same time. Parent is registering themselves for an adult program, while at the same time there is a tween program happening. My library has days where we purposely schedule different age group programs to happen at the same time. We have parents registering their younger kids for the kid's program, and their tween/teen for the teen program occurring at the same time.
I think an alert to notify the person there are conflicting programs would be good, but maybe don't stop the patron from completing registration.

I find the hyperlink on some of the series doesn't help me very much when searching a large series for a specific book.

I would love to see what items are already saved under a bookmark as I have at least 20 different bookmarked lists. I want to be able to hover over an already bookmarked item and see what list I have it on.
