We recently needed to make materials at a branch not holdable while that location was providing limited services and discovered that batch updating "holdable" interfered with the "days past first available" option and cannot be corrected through a batch process.

I spent a few hours yesterday trying to do this and not being able to figure out why it worked with Item Records and not patron records. The documentation I was able to find also did not make it clear that Patron ID was the only way to import from a file. At the very least improve the documentation. But it would be so much simpler to be able to use a barcode.
