Add the ability to edit the 008 field directly instead of having to open the editing box
In Leap, when you edit the 008 field by typing in the field directly, instead of opening the editing box, the position of the subfields is corrupted. The ability to edit the 008 field directly works correctly in the Client, and is an important, time-saving feature. Common edits include adding an 'a' for illustrations in position 18 or adding a second date in positions 11-14.

This is already supported with the in-line editor that was released in Polaris 7.6. If there is a bug in the editing flow, please open a bug ticket with Support.
