Inventory to update item status
I would like to have the option for items being inventoried, if they have an anomalous status, to have those items go to a status of IN. Of course, we would rather not do that for damaged items, etc., so the ability to decide which statuses would be updated to IN, such as missing, would be essential.

Agreed, any help with mitigating the amount of work would have to go through a separate report would be GREAT!

Yes please! My staff members who are responsible for inventory have frequently commented that the hardest part of inventorying is reconciling the report I provide of items with an inventory date but marked missing/lost/etc. It would be a big help if items could be updated automatically

This was a feature we had on Horizon and it was a lovely option to customize and know that if we found something odd it would just be handled but if we found something we deemed serious that we could set it aside to investigate.
