Customize Checkin Receipts
The elements that print on a checkin receipt currently are fixed and include unique identifiers (patron name and barcode) that some of our libraries would like to not have printed out. These receipts should be customizable like many others in Sierra, not necessarily allow for print templates (though I wouldn't object to that) but at least a customization ability similar to what's available for the default (non-templated) due slips.

Oh yes I agree with the comments from @Jenn, this sort of customization would be incredibly helpful with the checkout summary printouts as well...and just that across the board the system shouldn't default to printing out PII so freely.

This is an important consideration for protect patron privacy and PII while fulfilling a needed circulation / customer service function. I would extend this development to "summary" Print output from the patron tabs/tables displayed in "Check-Out (Circulation Desk)" function.
We use patron record number in lieu patron name in our Due Slip templates for new check-outs, but it is common for patrons to request a print-off of all their existing checkouts. When using Print from the Checkouts tab, the output reads "Checkouts summary for [Name]". Holds, Fines, etc have similar output when printing.
Ideally, we should have the means to customize the elements of this output. Short of that, the default for the output should not include PII. We prefer patron Record Number as more private than patron Barcode.
