Sierra API Integration with Rapido/Vega Discover
Our Database Administrator is itching to develop a new tool for handling patron suggestions, which would, in part poll not only our holdings for a suggested title/edition, but the catalogs of our resource sharing partners in SearchOhio & OhioLINK as well.
Knowing the availability of a suggested title not only in our own collection but those of our partner libraries would allow our Selectors to make their decisions on acquiring these items much faster.

Add Copy and Volume Fields to Custom INN-Reach Paging Slip Data Library
Idea:
Add the copy and volume fields from the item record to the Data Library for INN-Reach Paging slips.
Value:
Academic libraries that customize their INN-Reach Paging Slips with Jaspersoft are not able to use copy or volume fields on their paging slip. Record original barcode somewhere, either in temporary item record or request notes
We are a library that changes the barcode on an item when we receive it into our buildings. Once we replace it we have no record of the original barcode. This can become frustrating when you hit a point where you need to contact the loaning library about a shelf check and they request the barcode from us and we no longer know that.

Allow substitutions for shipped items
Once the lending library checks in an item and declares it shipped, there is no way to substitute a different item. If the lending library discovers that the original item is too damaged to circulate, they end up deciding not to ship the item, which cancels the request for the patron at the borrowing library.

Reassign Final Item Check In (API 300) requests
If the lending library sent a shipped message (API 201) but decides not to ship the item, the following message appears:
This INN-Reach item has already been checked in and declared shipped. Do you still want to ship this item?
If the lending library selects "No," the system sends a Final Item Check In (API 300) message to the borrowing library. This cancels the request for the patron at the borrowing library, even if other libraries have available copies of the item. Update fulfillments report site
Please update the INN-Reach fulfillments report website. The interface looks like it was designed in the mid-90s, the "user spec" feature doesn't work, and the text download isn't formatted to easily import into Excel.

Enable ability to "View Cancelled INNReach Holds"
It would be helpful to be able to view INNReach Cancelled Holds just like we can view local holds that are cancelled.
When patrons ask why they did not receive an item requested through INNReach, we are unable to give them an accurate answer. Was it because the owning library wasn't able to fill the request or they never picked up the item and it was cleared from the holdshelf, for example. This enhancement would enable us to provide better customer service.

Import item cost into INN-Reach temporary records
Import the item cost when creating a temporary INN-Reach item record so patrons of the borrowing library can be charged an accurate replacement charge for items that they lose or damage.

INN-Reach Reports: Add Print option to View Detail Popup box
Add the option to print the View Detail popup box in INN-Reach reports. For our shared Sierra system with 40 member libraries, the only report that isn't a systemwide report is Institutional Overdues so when the Too Long reports are run, users get all of the qualifying items for all 40 of our members because they do not honor Locations Served.
