We need to know which of our showcases are popular or unpopular. This will help us decide which subject areas to continue to create showcases for, and which ones we should no longer create. It allows for streamlining our workflows with the hard data to back up our choices.

Yes, statistical information in general, esp. for Vega home page. I concur that it makes no sense to continue to devote staff time to developing things like showcases if no one is using them. At this point, we have no idea. The reporting in Vega is pretty abysmal, esp. in light of it being in GA for several years now.

We can't make any informed decisions on Vega because getting usage stats only gives us very high level information. It is clear that more precise statistics are possible in this day and age.
We need to know how people are using the showcases before we commit more staff time to developing them.

We need this before we move forward with Showcases.
