Improve Locations Facet in Themed Kids Catalog
In the kid’s catalog version of Vega Discover for consortium use we are currently unable to neatly organize the location codes needed to limit the content to solely JUV materials. There can be many JUV codes in use for a single library which can be confusing for the patron if they’re looking for a specific library in the Locations facet.
Level 1 (library) codes do not appear in the Locations facet, even if the Level 2 (branch) codes are nestled under them. Being able to have a single location option for each library would be beneficial for the patron’s experience using the catalog, especially if that patron is a child. Allowing level 1 (library) locations to display in the locations facet could help solve this issue. Options for enhancement could include the ability to group a single library's many location codes into one code that will be used for the Locations facet in a sort of parent-child hierarchy along with the ability to customize the name of the location options for the end-user experience on the Locations facet.
Ideally, the kids catalog would be limited using the many juvenile codes for each library in the consortium. However, the end user would only need to select the library name from the Locations facet.

critical for us to present kid's info in a way that exposes our entire collection and doesn't cause confusion. Right now, it's confusing for adults and I can imagine incomprehensible to children.
