Password Reset PAPI Call
Currently we have to send patrons from our websites to the PAC if they need to reset their passwords. It would be great if there was an API call for this, as it's disruptive to the patron experience to have to send them to another site.
The suggested functionality would reflect the PAC experience: once they enter a barcode, a password reset email would be sent to the email address on the account.

Absolutely yes! This is an important area of PAPI functionality that is currently missing, resulting in poor customer service experiences on our site as we have to send them away to an unfamiliar site to make this change on their library account at RPL. We would love to standardize password reset with our registration and account login experiences we have on our website

The password reset improvements on the PAC with v7.3+ are great, having an API call to trigger the reset event would be even better as mentioned here. Would love to see login screens like Innovative Mobile be able to leverage this method.

Yes! I hate that we have to send customers to the PAC at any time - we should be able to customize this part of the experience, just like everything else!
