Check-In Count Report
We can run a report on the number of items checked out at our library, but it is much harder to try and track how many items were checked in. Leap will keep a count on the check-in screen, but if the window gets closed or a new staff member logs in, that information is lost. It would be great to be able to easily track how many check-ins we do in a day since check-outs only represent part of what keeps circ staff busy at the desk.

In SimplyReports, it is possible to run an Item Statistical Report on check in transactions for a given branch and date range. This was the first thing that came to mind for me reading this request.
If this report doesn't meet you need, please let me know so we can expand the details in this request. As it stands, using SimplyReports to query check in transactions would be my recommendation.
