Improvements to Multiple Holds
The multiple holds feature in Leap is really nice - unless you want to make sure that a bib you're selecting is actually the thing you want, the need for a preview option has been suggested in another Idea Exchange submission.
Another common use for multiple holds is creating what we at DPL call "Teacher Sets" where staff pull a bunch of topical items based on criteria provided by a teacher, place holds on them and then check them in to fill those requests and contact the customer.
Right now this is really clunky. Since there is no option to place holds on all bibs or items in a record set, the approach is to use the Multiple Holds feature, changing the database to Item Record and then scanning the barcode for each item. As illustrated in the attached video though, Leap not only pops back to the Multiple Holds start screen after selecting a scanned item, forcing the user to click Add Titles again but also doesn't offer a way to temporarily retain the Item Record database setting, so staff have to click Add Titles, Change database to Item Record, Scan, Press enter and then repeat all of those steps over and over until all of the items (often a cart's-worth) have been scanned.
It would be great if the Multiple Holds feature had two options as shown in the attached image: 1. Add Titles by Search (which then allows you to check the box next to all bibs you want to select then click open to add them to the hold screen) and 2. Add Items by Scan (which then allows you to just scan all of the physically present items into a search box).

We really need Leap to do at least 1 big thing that you CAN'T do in the staff client at all to help build enthusiasm for this transition.
