When libraries within our consortium borrow and lend items among each other, they send those items through the mail. Currently, they have to manually look up each other's mailing addresses (many times by Googling which isn't always accurate). It would save staff time and reduce errors if a library's mailing address could be included on the In-Transit Slips.

This would also allow for libraries to ensure the requesting library has their 'preferred' mailing address if an item needs to be returned to a location other than the owning library. For example, if a Main Library processes holds for its smaller branch libraries.

It would save even more time and effort if the mailing addresses were large enough to cut out and use as mailing labels. Example attached.

Another option would be the ability to enable a free-text field. This would offer a bit more flexibility in how the field is used.
