More Configuration Options For Hold Pickup Slips
We would like to be able to have more options for configuring the Hold Pickup Slip. Our current hold pickup slip is printed using an older piece of Bibliotheca RFID software that is no longer supported. The software allows us to configure the position, orientation and font size of each element on the hold slip. We are also able to select the number of characters to print for each of those elements, for example, first 3 characters of the last name, first character of the first name, etc.

Change default for Damaged Item Check-in
Currently the default option is to charge the patron when doing a damaged item check-in (see screenshot). We would like the default to either be changed to NOT charge the patron, or we would like to be given the option to choose the default ourselves so we can change it to what we want just for our consortium.

We would like there to be an option to add a note when declaring an item damaged from the patron account. Currently, there is no option to do that (see screenshot).

Add a note field when resolving Lost item charges at Check-in
We would like there to be an option to add a note when resolving lost item charges, processing fees, and overdue fees when checking in a Lost item. Currently, if we want to add a note when waiving processing fees or overdue fees, we have to first charge the fees, then go to the patron record and waive from there after the fact, just so we can add the notes. It would be much easier if we could add the notes right on the screen that pops up (see screenshot).

Block patrons from placing holds in VEGA, Mobile App, PAC and Leap if patron is blocked
Having patrons blocked from placing holds if there account is blocked is greatly needed, as patrons can currently place holds through Leap, Vega, Mobile App even if they are blocked for having too many fines.

Exclude ebooks from "Book" Material Type for searching
Currently, when limiting a search to the material type "Book", electronic resources (eBooks) are displayed as well. It would be nice if the material type "Book" only produced physical book results.

Add Notes to a Hold
Often library staff place requests on specific items and need to follow-up when the item is returned (check condition, re-label, compare copies of title, replace, discard, etc.). Our previous ILS supported a hold notes field that would display the saved note when the item was checked out. This reminded staff of why they had requested the item, or would let another staff member know what needed to be done with the item when the hold was filled. Add email notices to Use Name on Identification in LEAP Registration
If the check box is checked for Use Name on Identification it only applies to print and telephone notices. It needs to apply to email notices too.

Block patrons from putting holds on items they already have checked out
Our site manager said this was a previous long-standing enhancement request and suggested I check here and vote on it. I can't find anything that matches, so am starting an idea.
We have several patrons at different branches placing holds on items they already checked out so as to bypass our unwritten guideline of leaving items available to others for 24 hours before being checked out again. Now, for older items this isn't a problem and staff are allowed to make exceptions, but this practice is becoming a issue. We do allow one renewal, but apparently this isn't enough for…

Leap auto-formatting in date and postal code fields
The patron birthdate field and postal code field both require correct formatting to save the record. If would be helpful to staff if Leap could have auto-formatting (as many web forms do), e.g. insert the dashes in the birthdate (yyyy-mm-dd) and capitalize and insert the space in the postal code (A1A 1A1).
Adding the calendar date picker back for the birthdate field would also be great, assuming that the issues it used to cause could be resolved.

A note field that pops up at check out and check in
We need a note field in the item record that pops up as a warning box at check out and check in for notes that staff and patron may need to act on before checking out and in. Notes such as "Patron needs to sign a hold harmless form." Or the price of this piece of the kit is $250.00. Or "Item must be returned to this library." Staff should be able to close the window once they have read it.

Functionality of staff changing hold pickup location on held items
Current functionality says "If the item is held at your library (the pickup branch is the same as your log-in branch), and you change the pickup branch, the hold will automatically change from Held to Shipped."
We would like this to function the same as if the item is not at your location and mark the item so it appears on the holds to transfer list. The staff will then scan the item to mark it as shipped. Change a 'Lost' status to 'Withdrawn' status (and eventually deleted) and still retain the bill on a patron's account
Do this by creating a record set and using 'Ad Hoc Bulk Change' or 'Bulk Change' to change the circulation status from 'Lost' to 'Withdrawn', retaining the bill and item information on the patron's account.

Sort By options in Leap should match those available in Staff Client ex. Popularity
Our librarians make regular use the staff client's bibliographic option to sort by "most popular" when searching by author, particularly when supporting the needs of children and families. Please provide sort by options in Leap to match those available in the staff client.

Enable floating limits for collection and material type simultaneously
As a multi-branch system that floats some of our collections, we desperately need a way to set limits on the number of copies on shelf without giving up our ability to set limits on overall floating collection size. Currently in Polaris you must choose one limit or the other. Being able to spread copies throughout our system makes them more available for discovery and increases circulation.

Improve sort and printing options for Picklist Processing
Picklist is great - unless you are a large location that needs to distribute the list among several staff and do not have devices for everyone. Currently in staff client, we can sort multiple columns - example, by Collection then by call number within collection, then hide unwanted columns, print and distribute pages among multiple staff. You can only sort 1x in Leap and then there is a lot of white space, etc. which results in paper waste. It would be great to have the ability to fine sort, hide columns and headers when printing Picklist. Without that, staff will…

Transitioning claims returned to Lost after a set time and adding a bill
We would like to have to option for claims returned items to automatically go to Lost after a set time and adding bill to the patron.

Not-Supplied status for Holds - change back to on hold if item becomes avaliable
When an item hold has the status of Not-Supplied, if this item then becomes available eg if a a lost item is returned, the not-supplied status doesn't automatically retrigger the hold.
