Charge type on fines tab needs to specify if it is a damaged item
We would like “replacement” changed to a term that reflects the actual item status. Currently, “replacement” is used for both long-overdue and damaged items that have been billed. To determine whether a billed item is damaged or simply overdue, staff must open the item record and check for a damage note.

It seems to me that a more comprehensive solution would be to add Charge Type to the user-defined sets of codes (Admin menu > Parameters > General > Fixed-length Codes), if it isn't in there already.

Would love to see the word "replacement" changed to a word that gets at the actual status. Currently the charge type of "replacement" is used for a long overdue item that has been billed or a damaged item that has been billed. To find out if the item that has been billed is damaged or just hasn't been returned you have to go into the item record to see if a damaged note has been added.
