An error occurred while saving the comment Elaine Sloan commentedOur consortium libraries would also use this feature; we feel like it's an important option for the kids' catalog.

An error occurred while saving the comment Elaine Sloan commentedThis would absolutely be an improvement! Since it's not always a 1:1 mapping, I would love to know what is and isn't being mapped and where it's being pulled from in the bibliographic record. The bib rollup documentation helps, but it's not a mapping, and I think that would help solve or explain a lot of the differences to staff between the way Vega works and the way the ILS works.

An error occurred while saving the comment Elaine Sloan commentedThe ability to use resource entities in Polaris to integrate econtent records in the catalog and limit views to only those who have access is something that Vega is lacking. Even though there is an API for overdrive, we have resource entities set up for records in our O'Reilly database and we want to keep these in the catalog. Vega currently doesn't provide any way to hide these records, and there is no API integration. Please offer this as a way to hide and separate access for consortia and libraries that want to keep their records in the catalog but also hide them from those who don't have access.

An error occurred while saving the comment Elaine Sloan commentedEven if these 5xx fields were only displayed once a specific edition of an item was chosen from a rollup, they should still be displayed. These notes are vital for access, selection, and general information of customers searching for the material that will fit their needs, and can be necessary to differentiate between versions of works with the same title.

An error occurred while saving the comment Elaine Sloan commentedThis is absolutely critical for consortia, when there are multiple libraries and multiple home pages to manage by different organizations. We are not a centralized consortium, and each library needs to have the permissions to create and manage their own home pages, while still keeping system-level admin with one login.

An error occurred while saving the comment Elaine Sloan commentedI've had this problem even in the Client, and having this functionality would save me so much time when trying to gather records for batch editing or when using SQL queries to exclude or include certain criteria.
