Display the Pickup Area for the holds listed in the account view
When looking at the customer account view, the holds list is only showing the holds pickup location and is missing the holds pickup area. We would like to include the pickup area to be listed so that the customer will know where to pick up the item.

If you are an academic with multiple libraries across campus, this is a must have to avoid very annoyed patrons.

Agree with all the comments that this should be a standard feature in Vega if Vega is going to be the best discovery layer experience it can be. It would also help very directly in my consortium by indicating lockers, curbside pickup, or holds windows where there are multiple pickup locations at a branch.

This is critical for the success of our after-hours holds lockers so people can tell where they should go to pick up their materials. We have plenty of patrons who don't know where to go to get their items.

This improvement would create a standard pickup experience across all communication points for our community. Our customers expect and deserve this whether they are using the new holds lockers or not.

This is supported in some 3rd party Discovery Layer products already. It is a shame not to see support for new ILS features show up in Vega first. Vega should be 1st in class in use of underlying ILS features.

The display of the selected Pickup Area was initially expected at the time of the feature’s release on December 18, 2024. However, due to several delays and retracted releases, Vega has not yet fully implemented the intended functionality for Pickup Areas.
Currently, Vega allows patrons to set a preferred Pickup Area (i.e., patron default) and select a Pickup Area when placing a hold. However, after a hold has been placed, patrons have no way to view which Pickup Area was selected, nor can they change the selected Pickup Area.
Both of these capabilities, viewing and modifying the chosen Pickup Area, are essential for Vega to provide complete support for Pickup Areas and to meet user expectations for this feature.
