We would love the ability to have a digital signature in Polaris for a patron signing up for a card. They could use the digital signature to agree with terms and conditions of library policies.

It would be helpful for our system to have a reminder notice similar to patron registration expiration. We want to be able to send a notice yearly for patrons to come in and update their address and contact information. Many of our libraries want to offer long term library card privileges, therefore patrons wouldn't get the expiration notices regularly.

This is a great idea. We have libraries who are manually changing the Expiration Date for 3 months when they assign a 'New' patron code.

Another option might be to not display the subtitles as that would shorten how much text is being displayed

Currently we can add a Showcase to patron notices, but it is the Plain Cover Carousel. Sometimes if the titles are too long this doesn't display as nicely as it might with another type of Showcase. Maybe an option to just display the covers of the books and the title and author.

I second Joyce Peter. We also use LAD to purge patrons and adding card renewal to the list of activities to update the LAD would be helpful. Not staff making changes to the patron record though. We lots of times have staff working on clean-up projects and I wouldn't want it to update the LAD.
Our catalogers used to be able to use QuickPaste (similar to PhraseExpress) to enter data in bibliographic records when using WorkFlows with SirsiDynix.
We have hundreds of subject headings and genres, relationship designators, and other information saved in QuickPaste that could be inserted into bib records with easy key combinations. For example, <Control><Alt><S> would provide a dropdown list of 40 or so most commonly used genres that could be inserted easily. Another example is <Control><Alt><V> which would provide a dropdown of about 20 subfield |v inserts. This no longer works with the Leap MARC editor.
