In addition to having this as a filter in simply reports, it would be nice to add this to the Find Tool as a field to search for patron records.

For our libraries, when an item has been claimed returned, we essentially are giving the patron, and staff, more time to locate the item. If it is found, they check it in and it is removed from the patron's claimed section. We don't want these items sitting indefinitely. We would like the system to age these items to Lost and bill the patron after X amount of days. This would alleviate any extra steps staff would need to take in running reports and manually updating the record and item. But I agree it would be nice to have this a "turn on" or "off" feature in Admin and when on, set those limits within. Similar to how it worked in Sierra.

I would like to add to this, unless there is another idea I missed..., that staff be able to add more in terms of Bib records fields for the columns.
This may be hard to do, but the BIB results don't give staff everything they need to see and the Item results don't give them the combination of BIB and Item info they want to see in the results. I don't know how this would be done, but would be helpful for staff.

Yes, this is very frustrating to our staff when they check out to a patron and THEN are notified that there are holds to pickup. It should appear upon scanning the patron card/opening the record so staff and/or patrons can go grab those holds to check out altogether.

I would like to add the ability to add the Notification Option as a column to the Request Manager. Or the ability to customize the columns for this as each library uses this slightly differently to fulfill daily tasks.
