Marking items during picklist processing as Located should prevent other items from being trapped to fulfill hold request
Currently, when working through Picklist processing, items can be marked as "Located". While this is useful for in-library work flow to indicate that it has been found, it doesn't do anything to prevent another member library or branch location from filling the hold request when trapped at point of check-in. This causes problems in a multi-branch or larger consortia system where there is a higher chance of popular material being checked in throughout the day.
Ideally, it would be great if marking an item as "Located" not only changed the status from the Picklist, but also prevented another item from being caught at point of check-in since the hold is in-the-process of being satisfied. Having staff spend an hour or two to pick items throughout their library to find that some have been fulfilled from under them is frustrating.
Thanks for the consideration!

Wasting staff time AND making a patron wait for the item to arrive from elsewhere, while there is one on the shelf at the pick-up library, is just bad service all around. Please consider this!

If this could be enabled even for 12 hours--a single working day--it could save at least that much staff time in our libraries every day. Thank you for considering this!
