Automatically check "display in PAC" box when an item designated as lost or missing is checked in.

We just went live with Polaris and have discovered this issue. It is very frustrating - this should be part of the check in process - the item is checked in so status changes, display in PAC is checked.

There is a system admin setting that might or might not do this already, I don't 100% understand how it behaves. Admin Explorer-->Profiles-->Cataloging-->Automatic display in PAC processing.
If you have the bottom checkbox checked, I think you could accomplish this with current tools?

This would be great to have as we have the same issue of having to run SQL regularly to catch Bibs no longer showing display in PAC

The "display in PAC" should be checked for both the item and the bib when it's found. If it was the only item on a bib record, the bib no longer displays even after the item is checked in again. We have to run an SQL regularly in the Find Tool to identify these and it can be hundreds of titles in a week. Because they don't display they aren't visible to patrons.
