LEAP: POLI Notes - Cannot edit these fields for Closed Years
We often enter Non-public notes in POLI's, regarding order status, PTO requests from suppliers, unsuitable items, no-cost replacement requests, and reasons for cancellation. The client allows note entry in all POLI's - Open and Closed years.
We do not automatically cancel outstanding orders before fiscal close, so when a supplier cancels in the new year, or we choose to, we enter a note in the POLI and delete the on-order item record. Closed year POLI's cannot be 'Cancelled'.
Currently, we have to go to the client to enter the note and save it.
