Clerk Codes for Circulation Staff
It would be nice to have Clerk codes for Circulation Staff to enter to perform patron transactions. Once the transaction clears, the system resets and is ready for the next clerk code. This would alleviate the need for each staff member to have their own Polaris login and more importantly help identify staff that may need more training. It would also keep staff from piggybacking off another staff member's login. We would be happy if this was an option that could be turned on and left off for those libraries that do not desire it.

I'm not clear on how you envision clerk codes would replace a login. Would you please provide more details on the workflow you're thinking of?
