Undo/Redo Buttons in the Leap MARC Editor
In the Client, there are undo and redo buttons. The undo button is particularly useful when someone has made a mistake. It quickly allows staff to correct the mistake by pressing a single button. When training technical services staff to use Leap, this button is clearly missed. Having this button will make the transition to Leap easier. Questions and comments about the lack of the undo button are common during training.

I'm not sure why a undo/redo is not an option. It is a basic function. It's very common to misclick and delete a field by accident, and there is no option to recover the field without closing the record and losing your current work. The current process seems to be make a change, save, make a change, save, which is way too much clicking and steps, and impacts the workflow.

This would be great. The 'add a new field' button and 'delete a field' buttons are very close together, and I have accidentally deleted a field, when I meant to add one. There's no way to get that field back without discarding any other changes you may have already made.

Samantha,
What if I deleted a whole field that I didn't mean to? The ctrl+z doesn't work.

Just a quick comment that undo/redo actions are working per cell in Leap with ctrl+z and ctrl+y. The gap is trying to perform multiple undos between different tags. For example, if you edited 4 different tags, ctrl+z currently would only undo your last tag change (the field you're currently in).
