Make Syndetics Only Link to the Current Vega Collection
Some Syndetics content links out to the main Vega collection instead of the collection that is currently being searched. For Consortia this will create patron issues since each member has their own collection.

Echoing the other comments in this thread. Why some aspects of the enriched content link to the collection site, while others don't, does not make any sense and will only create confusion among customers.
Until this is fixed, we will have to suppress those sections from customer view. This includes sections vital to customer interest such as More in this Series, You May Also Like, and About the Author.

This is a problem for us as we are a shared system with KPL. Every link in Syndetics beings us out to the 'global catalogue' and customers are not able to place holds on any of those items because they are often not from our collection but rather our partner orgs collection.

This is a real problem for us as it takes customers out of the local catalogue to the main collection site (combined 'consortia' holdings) which displays content we don't offer that the customer cannot have. Very confusing for the user who ends up here and not good customer service.

Confusing for patrons. Would be great if this could be fixed and not redirect patrons to a different iteration of Vega and instead allow them to remain at the library of their choice's Vega collection when looking at/clicking on Syndetics content.

Having better Syndetics functionality for consortia (keeping customers within their own collection site for searches, showing them material they have access to and suppressing others) is critical for successful consortia implementation for Vega.
