Passcode Reset Clarification or Enhancement
There's no way to modify the text that appears on the Passcode Reset page for Vega Discover. We've seen some patrons trying to enter their barcode with spaces as it is formatted on their library card which doesn't work. At a minimum, it would be great to indicate on this page to enter "Barcode/Username (no spaces, please)", or even better to have the input field ignore spaces entered. Thanks for the consideration and reducing some of our front line staff headaches.

III team, is this a duplicate of this other request?: https://ideas.iii.com/forums/951766-vega-discover/suggestions/49030280-editable-verbiage-on-forgot-your-password-reset
This is clearly a big issue for customers. It would be nice if these ideas could be merged and the number of votes combined to reflect the importance of this issue.
Like the poster of the older Idea, we won't be directing patrons to use the Discover functionality unless we get the ability to edit this page and the actual email. It's unusuable as-is. Particularly because we have a large Spanish-speaking population and there's no way to get this text in anything other than English as far as I can tell.
Here are some other related ideas that show how problematic this current functionality is:
1. Can't customize error message for invalid barcode (January 2025): https://ideas.iii.com/forums/951766-vega-discover/suggestions/49371176-clearer-messaging-when-no-email-is-present-in-the
2. "Welcome to Vega" page/tab title is not meaningful to patrons: https://ideas.iii.com/forums/951766-vega-discover/suggestions/49709636-change-the-website-title-of-passcode-reset-webpage
3. Patrons think the reset emails are phishing because they don't contain a recognizable library name: https://ideas.iii.com/forums/951766-vega-discover/suggestions/46756426-customize-vega-email-password-reset-message
4. Password reset link does not use custom domain URL for libraries that have custom URL set up: https://ideas.iii.com/forums/951766-vega-discover/suggestions/48728768-maintain-custom-url-during-password-resets-etc -

Another vote for access to edit the text on the Passcode Reset page.
We're trying to consistently use PIN instead of Passcode. I've adjusted all the iterations of Passcode that I can find in the Manage translations to use PIN within the blue quotes.
Unfortunately, I don't see the Passcode reset screen's text in the list. Is it possible to apply our Manage Translations file to this page?

A patron was using their former barcode to try to do a password reset, and before we realized what the issue was, the screen kept simply refreshing and gave them no message indicating what the issue was. It would be much more helpful if it warned them that they were using an invalid barcode, or even better, that they were using a former barcode.
