branch level notice messaging in LX Starter
LX Starter should include branch level notice customization for all types of notices - holds, almost due, overdue, billing.
Idea Value:
This would give libraries the ability to strategically message different customer groups.At our library, this branch level feature is currently available in the Polaris ILS. We have a branch that offers delivery services for holds and we used the custom messaging for this purpose. Now that we are on LX Starter, the default message that works for most of our branches (come pick it up) does not work for this branch (it will be delivered on...).

If each branch would like to have its own set of notice templates to design and customize, please submit a support ticket to request a switch to a multi-library notice management system.
This will provide an LX Starter site for each branch, allowing them to design their own notice templates. LX Starter will send notices based on the branch location and their corresponding templates to patrons. You can learn more about how it works here. Although you are not a consortia, this system will still work for individual library systems.

Allow us to change system roles
We cannot currently change the system role for a user, it would be much quicker to be able to modify the account than to remove them, log out, log in and then readd them with the new role.

Account message when no preference selected
When a patron has no preference selected, the automated message is not added to their account regarding the email bounce. I realize this is based on the action that changes the preference from email to phone when it bounces, but think LX Starter should still communicate that failure to the patron record.

LX Starter Overdue Bill Notice error displaying Total Amount Owed merge tag
Lx Starter Overdue Billing notice spooled today, however, is still not displaying the “Total Amount Owed” that merge tag is not working correctly out of the box.
An overdue Bill notice will not work for the Library without knowing what patrons owes the Library. Have the Developer correct the error with the merge tag for “Total Amount Owed” in the Overdue Bill Notice not displaying.8 votesPatch available for this issue on Polaris 7.4. Create new role for read-only user
LX Starter new role read-only user as Library Page able to view user statistics have access to all links Delivery Rate, Bounce Rate, Fail to Send and Marked as Spam and ability to correct those users only.
Read-only user has No Access, Notice Settings, Edit Template, Publish Template, and All Library Settings in LX Starter.27 votes
