Our consortium needs to be able to associate where circulation transactions took place that are associated with charges in patron accounts, in addition to knowing who owns a material and where the patron is registered. Patrons can use any of our member libraries, and the policies of the checkout location apply to certain charges like overdue fines while charges related to lost or damaged materials are associated with the owning location. Currently July 2025) we cannot include in an item List transaction report an identifier for the location where the circulation activity took place. When patrons pay online, the lack of the ability to include the circ location information in a report of payments made hampers our ability to get the correct amount of money to the correct library.

Alec B., I'll mention that while patron history reports look like they are possible in SimplyReports, for us there is no way to run such reports. I've enabled that permission for myself but there is no resulting function change that then allows me to run patron history reports. I don't know if this is unique to our setup, or if we need to change settings to retain certain types of records that we aren't now, but if patron history in SimplyReports is important to you, I would suggest that you ask your implementation folks to demonstrate that it works for your setup.
