We've run into many issues with this as a consortium. There really isn't a need for bib records to be locked at all when being viewed by a user without permissions to edit it.

We're new to Vega Discover, and this is a feature we absolutely need. The pickup options drop down should only list eligible pickup locations for that title, which in the case of a title that only has "limited to pickup at" items would just be those limited locations. Without this, patrons (and staff) have been very confused when they try to place a hold and get a message telling them that title is ineligible for a hold, which it is not. They just don't realize they need to try a different pickup location.

This is a very important enhancement for us. It would work well if this were a setting so that some customers could have it work as designed currently and some (like us) could just have it allow the holds regardless of how the items were created.

This would be very helpful to have. Our staff keep complaining about the workflow requiring them to have to go check the item in first for no real reason.
