It is possible to print "reasonable" lists if you print a "list view" (Ctrl+Shift+P) or click the arrow next to the printer icon. I'd recommend printing to PDF first and making sure it looks OK first - you may need to adjust columns, etc.
At my branch we mostly use a custom list generated from Microsoft Report Builder, but this takes quite a bit of technical expertise to set up.
The current "Holds to Fill" list is insane and completely impractical. The ability to do some basic customization to that list (at the very least fit more than 7 items per page) might make it useful, but as it stands I doubt anyone uses it.

Many of our member libraries still use volunteers with paper pick lists to pull holds - staff wouldn't be able to keep up otherwise. Issuing each volunteer a tablet to work the picklist isn't something that they can afford, so the libraries who have tried to move entirely to Leap are having to use a custom BI report we created to print the picklist, because printing from Leap is very paper-intensive.
