@Dona: If I'm understanding correctly, I believe the original suggestion is in agreement with you, that checking every patron is incredibly cumbersome to circ staff. The suggestion is to add an alert for patrons with dated notes so staff doesn't have to check every time.

Circulation cannot possibly look up each patrons notes when checking out.. and if the note is important will it alert patron when using meescan or the app?????

If there is highlight or pop up I would not go to more and scroll down to Dated Notes to see if the patron has something on there record I should be aware. So then I feel like the dated notes is useless, unless there is some type of highlight to make me or staff look.

Without having some sort of visual alert to let staff know there are dated notes it limits the usefulness of the feature.

Really need that alert for staff that they need to open the tab for further information. Please implement!

We will not use this feature until there is a visual indicator for it. Ideally the dated notes should be integrated with "classic" Notes. Thanks!

If we'll have the option to disable classic notes, we'll need the option to pop up the dated notes when the patron record is accessed.

Having some form of visual indicator next to the Dated Notes tab to show there are dated notes would make this much more helpful for our libraries.

We need an alert as well. Our libraries will not implement Dated Notes until there is some indication that there is a note without having to click into it.

Having the system automatically log Notes as they are being added has been an ongoing desire for us. Because of this, we desperately want to use the Dated Notes features. However, we can't use it in its current form. Staff do not have time to check each patron for Dated Notes. They need some type of visual indication that the patron has Dated Notes.
