Options Group setting for showing Last Patron
In a consortial setting we have some libraries that would like to avoid showing last patron data for a item in an attempt to avoid retaining data that could be used to breach a patron's privacy.

This would also be useful as a permission, to hide the setting from some staff, but allow it for supervisors or circulation managers. The Options group would work as well I suppose, but 90% of our staff are under one option group so controlling it at a permission level may be more flexible of a change.

We manually clear this field system-wide every month, retaining the last patron number for 90 days. A more flexible solution would be to automatically clear this field based on a site-specific retention period.
