OCLC Direct Requesting Ability to Map Data to Patron Notes
The protocol used for the transfer API (ISO 18626) does not provide a field for a patron note. There is a "serviceInfo/note" which OCLC maps to their Borrowing Library note. OCLC said they would look into whether there are any other potential options, but any solution would require development by both OCLC and Innovative. We would like to map data to patron notes or a Sierra ILL request location field.

More spine label queue options / label printing options
Spine Label Queues are only available in the current session and do not save. We are able to print spine labels (sheet or continuous) from Create Lists, but cannot apply print templates with this function. Can we either have the option to apply print templates when wanting to print batches of labels via Create Lists and/or have the option to hold on to our spine label queues for more than just the current session?

Notify when Holds exist for linked patrons
Notify user when a patron linked to the current patron has holds available for pickup. This would eliminate the need to check individual accounts. The also eliminates having a patron leave without all the available holds for that family.

Automate moving YTDCIRC to LYRCIRC at year-end and don't update last updated date.
At the end of the year/before we open on January 2nd, we have to manually zero out the YTDCIRC and replace the LYRCIRC with YTDCIRC. Besides being time-consuming if you have a lot of records, this process also then changes the last updated date of the item record, which makes that date less helpful, especially for missing, lost, etc items. This should be done automatically, and it should not change the last updated date of the item record.

By adding the invoice printing we can print out the invoices in excel form including the data we need for the finance department process.

Toggle for Autorenew HLOVERDUE Patron Block
We'd like autorenew to look at the overdue count of the item rather than the patron HLOVERDUE (highest level overdue) when determining if the item should be renewed. This might be best implemented as a toggle in Admin Corner.
Currently, if the patron has a billed item, autorenew will cite the patron block for HLOVERDUE when blocking other items that would otherwise renew. In our system, we prefer to use the item's overdue count rather than HLOVERDUE for autorenew. Make Review Files in Admin App Consistent w/SDA & Sierra Web
In Sierra - SDA and Web - you can sort review files in Create Lists by the column header, i.e., file #, current records, max records, type, status, login and created.
In the Admin App (BACK END MANAGEMENT > Review Files), the only columns displaying are file # (which doesn't appear to match the file # in the SDA/Sierra Web), number of records (= max records), current and name. Sorting by column is not an option.
The display, labeling and function for managing review files should be consistent.

Record Creation - Add "Back" option vs. just "Next" or "Cancel"
When you create (a) new item(s) while cataloging -- or create any records actually! -- the pop-up that guides you to enter the data step-by-step should have a back button. Currently, if you make a mistake and click Next you either have to cancel and start over or keep going and fix the mistake on each item record individually after saved/completed. It can be quite tedious when you are adding multiple items at once.

Increase Character Limits for Data Fields
The Notice Type data field in the Text of Circulation Notices table is a mere 20 characters long. As we've had to create a number of new notices for temporary changes in operating hours, policies, etc., due to COVID, we'd like to make the description a bit more descriptive than 20 characters allows.
Also, because you cannot delete any of the old/test notice types, you already have to use up some of the characters to note that it's old/test/not used.

Waive part of a fine
Circulation staff would like the ability to waive portions of individual fines/fees on a patron record.
Sometimes staff forgets to backdate items in our book drop or the library is closed for some reason (weather, etc.). Staff wants to waive part of the late fee, but are forced to waive the full amount for the item, then go back and enter in a manual fee (or just waive completely).

Browse Display in SDA - Allow Ability to Customize or Expand
We would like the ability to customize the "browse display" where the result of records show up after the indexed search. Specifically, we'd like the option to show fields that are only available if you make the effort to expand the display.
Currently, the description column shows the indexed entry, title, author, ISBN, Call Number and location. The pub year would be helpful (as would the 490) for when staff is asked for an author's next book in a series, and they don't know the series title, just the author's name. Staff are often confused by the need to post in order for new/cancelled orders to be reflected in their funds, particularly as the system does not provide an indication that those changes need to be committed. These are included when you select post all within the pay an invoice function (which staff won't look at if they aren't actively paying an invoice) but they do not appear listed within any of the 10 payment sessions or under funds adjustments.

Upgrade OpenSSH version
Currently INN-Reach and Sierra servers are bundled with OpenSSH 7.1, which is over 7 years old as of this writing. There is a sorting bug (https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2694) that impacts the Scheduler functionality that would be fixed by upgrading to at least OpenSSH 7.6. Also assume that multiple security vulnerabilities exist in 7.1.

New material type icons
The current icons available for the OPAC for material types are woefully lacking. There's no icon for audiobooks (the modern digital type), but you have icons for cd-rom books and books on cassette. The icon I'd most like to see added is a streaming video icon. This is a very common collection item in the 21st century, but our only option is a film (reel-to-reel), dvd, or internet resource (which isn't helpful at all). Any chance we could get more modern material type icons? For ideas, simply google "streaming video icon" and look at all the options!

Allow for automatic renewals when a hold is frozen
Allow for automatic renewals on items where the only holds on that item are frozen.

Currently if a hold is frozen, automatic renewals do not work because the hold on the item blocks renewal. This presents a problem because the hold is frozen and the patron does not want the item yet, forcing patrons to return items just to have them sit on the shelf. Open and edit patron record from item record
When viewing an item record, you can double click on the patron# and you can view the patron record of the person who currently has the item on loan. It would be good to also be able to have the option to actually edit the patron record, and to also be able to access what they currently have checked out.

Identify when a staff user last logged in to Sierra
Provide data for tracking Sierra users (library staff). For example, log sign on and sign out dates and times. Perhaps add a "Last signed in" date field to the user record. Other data points might also be worthy of recording, such as types of records accessed.

Allow searching by item information in course reserves module
Add search functions of "title" and "barcode" to course reserves.
