Scheduling Vega Homepage Layouts
Vega Homepage Layouts are an excellent way to communicate with our patrons based on spotlighting showcases, new collections, as well as upcoming programs.
Although this takes a lot of manual intervention whenever a change needs to be made. We'd love the ability to schedule Vega Homepage layouts for future months. Example: Saving Monthly Vega Showcases based on our libraries future focused campaigns (Summer reading, poetry month, heritage months, etc.).

A dynamic environment holds interest and this takes planning and timing. Being able to set in event post and expire dates would allow staff to set and forget changes, build a year long plan that just gets tended from time to time.

It just makes sense to have these scheduled. There are multiple things we can be promoting at any time that are time-sensitive. It will save on staff member's time that while scheduling for other platforms they can take care of Discover homepage as well.

We would require this ability before implementing Showcases on Vega homepage.

We already schedule our other marketing platforms (library website, digital displays, social media posts, etc.) in advance, so having the ability to do this on the Vega homepage would be more efficient. Currently, we will have to remember to update Vega once the other platforms are scheduled. When promotions are scheduled to run (or end) over a holiday/outside of normal business hours, on Vega we will be required to log in and adjust.
